The Story Behind the Scent

Winter in Chapa has a coldness of its own. Mist settles over the mountainsides, the air turns sharp and clear, and impressions of wood, earth and spice seem more pronounced. L’hiver à Chapa does not attempt to recreate an entire landscape. It holds the sensation of entering the mountains in winter, when distant sounds recede and nearby details become vivid.
