I remember a Christmas morning in Da Lat: the chill inside the room and White Christmas playing in the highland air. The pine branches made me search for the scent of real, fresh pine rather than the familiar imitation found in scented products. Matin à Đà Lạt grew from these small details: a cold morning, greenery touched by dew, and the feeling of waking in a city high in the hills.
